Deadline approaching for claiming GP CPCS engagement and set up payment
Community pharmacy contractors are reminded that to be able to claim the £300 engagement and set up payment for the GP Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (GP CPCS), the activities listed in Annex F of the CPCS service specification must have been completed by 30th June 2021.
Contractors should ensure they keep documented evidence to show that all activities have been completed for Post Payment Verification purposes.
Contractors can claim this payment until 11.59pm on 5th July 2021 using the NHS Business Services Authority’s Manage Your Service (MYS) platform.
New GP CPCS resources
Alongside the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Primary Care Pharmacy Association, PSNC has endorsed an NHS England and NHS Improvement briefing note which outlines how the GP referral pathway works and how to implement it in Primary Care Networks and practices. A new case study has also been published alongside the briefing note.
RCGP and NHSE&I also held a joint webinar recently on GP CPCS which covered how the referral pathway works and how it supports general practice; a recording of the webinar is now available on-demand.
