Mid-year review: What we’ve been doing for you
Community Pharmacy England is working to improve outcomes for the sector in everything we do. As part of our work to influence Government and NHS policy in favour of community pharmacy we have continued working to build advocates for the sector. This includes working with MPs, health charities, patient groups, think tanks, and the media, to raise awareness of the challenges pharmacies are facing and push for solutions.
We have taken part in important events including political party conferences and hosted a joint event with the think tank Reform and The King’s Fund at the Labour Party conference, with panel speakers including Pharmacy Minister Stephen Kinnock MP, Steve Race MP, and The King’s Fund CEO Sarah Woolnough.
We have also kept up our efforts to engage with and listen to pharmacy owners, exhibiting at events such as this year’s Pharmacy Show, hosting the annual LPC Conference, and holding regional roadshows across the country throughout the summer.
The following infographics highlight some of our activities in the past few months. If you have any ideas on how we can improve engagement, please email comms.team@cpe.org.uk or contact the Chief Executive directly at chiefexec@cpe.org.uk.
