Community Pharmacy England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) are holding a joint webinar to explain upcoming changes to Part IX (appliances / medical devices) of the Drug Tariff.
Representatives from the Medical Technologies and Innovation Team at DHSC alongside experts from our Dispensing and Supply Team will explain more about the upcoming changes and what they will mean for pharmacy teams; including:
- Summary of Part IX and background to the targeted consultation
- Plans and approach to Part IX re-categorisation
- Timelines for implementation of changes
- Impact of changes on patients, pharmacy teams and prescribers
