Community Pharmacy England is recruiting an Independent Chair

Community Pharmacy England is seeking an Independent Chair to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its Committee.

This important role involves steering the Committee’s work as the governing body, supporting the executive team managing and engaging with external stakeholders.

With our current Chair, Sue Killen, due to complete her term of office later this year, we have initiated a recruitment process to find a replacement.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of chairing boards or advisory bodies, particularly in complex environments. A strong understanding of governance best practice, how Government and the health system operates, and a strategic mindset is essential to this role.

The Chair will facilitate discussions, promote collaboration, and ensure that the organisation remains committed to its mission to support and advocate for community pharmacy.
