Medicine Supply Notification: Beclometasone dipropionate (Clenil Modulite®) 50micrograms/dose and 250 micrograms/dose inhalers
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued a medicine supply notification for: Beclometasone dipropionate (Clenil Modulite®) 50micrograms/dose and 250 micrograms/dose inhalers.

Date of issue: 25 August 2026
- Beclometasone dipropionate (Clenil Modulite®) 50micrograms/dose and 250micrograms/dose inhalers will be discontinued at the end of November 2026.
- Beclometasone dipropionate (Soprobec®) 50micrograms/dose and 250micrograms/dose inhalers remain available and can support increased demand.
- Beclometasone dipropionate (Clenil Modulite®) 100micrograms/dose inhaler remains available and can support an increased demand for patients where appropriate (see below).
- Beclometasone dipropionate CFC-free pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs), Qvar® and Kelhale®, remain available for patients where appropriate (see below).
A copy of this medicine supply notification, including supporting information, has been sent to all pharmacy NHS email addresses.
DHSC and NHS England have launched an online Medicines Supply Tool, which provides up-to-date information about medicine supply issues. The contents of these MSNs can now be viewed on the Tool.
The Tool also details any changes to resupply dates and updates to the entries.
