Medicine Supply Notification: Moviprep® and Plenvu® oral powder sachets

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued a medicine supply notification for: Moviprep^® and Plenvu^® oral powder sachets

Date of issue: 25 August 2026

• Moviprep^® oral powder sachets are in limited supply until January 2027.
• Plenvu^® oral powder sachets remain available, although intermittent delays in deliveries may be experienced until January 2027.
• Alternative bowel preparations remain available, although their ability to support increased demand is limited.

A copy of this medicine supply notification, including supporting information, has been sent to all pharmacy NHS email addresses.

DHSC and NHS England have launched an online Medicines Supply Tool, which provides up-to-date information about medicine supply issues. The contents of these MSNs can now be viewed on the Tool.

The Tool also details any changes to resupply dates and updates to the entries.
