MenB: UKHSA and NHS England provide further information on vac service

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and NHS England have published a letter providing further information on the Meningococcal (MenB) time limited vaccination offer.

The letter follows on from the announcement last week, where the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England announced a new community pharmacy vaccination service to provide a one-off Meningococcal B (MenB) Vaccination Service.

The letter provides information on key points of the programme and includes an annex which sets out clinical guidance and wider advice supporting delivery of MenB vaccination. The letter also highlights that further operational guidance for pharmacy owners will follow for those that are interested in providing the Advanced service; NHS England is also planning on publishing the service specification shortly.
