MP engagement: Book now for our webinar

Pharmacy owners and LPCs are invited to join a new Community Pharmacy England webinar offering practical advice and support on engaging with local MPs.

Taking place on Tuesday 10th November at 7pm, the online session will look at how effective local engagement can help build a network of supporters for community pharmacy, strengthening our national influencing activity.

Building on our Autumn MP Engagement Resource Pack, the webinar will provide practical tips on contacting MPs, arranging pharmacy visits and making the most of meetings with Parliamentarians. It will also explore ways to showcase the services being delivered by community pharmacies, highlight the role pharmacies play in providing accessible healthcare, and share the challenges and pressures facing the sector.

The webinar is being conducted with the support of Lexington public affairs agency, and attendees will learn more about:

  • why engagement with MPs matters and how it supports our national advocacy work;
  • how to secure and prepare for an MP pharmacy visit;
  • the key messages to communicate to politicians;
  • practical actions to ask MPs to take; and
  • the resources and support we can provide.

There will also be an opportunity to have your questions answered.
