Pricing Analyst job opportunity
Community Pharmacy England is looking for a Pricing Analyst to help ensure the accuracy of the NHS’s monitoring of drug and appliance prices, as well as the reimbursement of prescription payments to community pharmacies.
Community Pharmacy England represents the ~10,400 NHS community pharmacies in England. These pharmacies (sometimes known as local or high-street pharmacies) are at the heart of primary care, ensuring that millions of people receive vital prescription medicines safely and efficiently and offering healthcare advice and support to the public.
In recent years English pharmacies have expanded their role in delivering a range of public health and clinical services including vaccinations, Pharmacy First, and advice on using medicines.
The role includes checking the accuracy of the NHS’s monitoring of drug and appliance prices, as well as the payments that go to pharmacies for the work that they’ve done, helping give pharmacy owners confidence in the payment reimbursement processes they are subject to.
We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our small and busy team, on a full-time ongoing basis. If you’re interested in this role and would like to understand it further, please see the linked job pack and job description.
