Process announced for CPE East and North Midlands Regional Representative election
The mid-term election process for an ‘Independent regional representative’ for Community Pharmacy England’s East and North Midlands region begins next week. This follows Lindsey Fairbrother’s resignation from the Committee.
Eligible pharmacists* who are Independent pharmacy owners and members or officers of one of the LPCs in the region are invited to stand for election as the new regional representative.
The LPCs in the East and North Midlands region are:
- Derbyshire LPC
- Leicestershire & Rutland LPC
- Lincolnshire LPC
- Nottinghamshire LPC
- Shropshire LPC
- Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent LPC

Eligible pharmacists are encouraged to consider standing in the election, and the portal for submissions opens on 7 May.

*Note: In Community Pharmacy England’s constitution, an Independent pharmacy owner means ‘a pharmacy owner operating retail pharmacy businesses from no more than nine premises in England, from which NHS Pharmaceutical Services or Local Pharmaceutical Services are provided and who is not a member of the IPA’.
