Retrospective pricing adjustments for Eucerin® products
NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has confirmed that the following 8 Eucerin® products will be granted upward retrospective pricing adjustments because the manufacturer did not update their product NHS list prices on the NHS dictionary of medicines and devices (dm+d) when the new list price changes took effect at the end of 2025. Following checks carried out by Community Pharmacy England’s Dispensing and Supply team, we asked NHSBSA to investigate and rectify any prescription payments for the period in which Eucerin® list prices were incorrect on dm+d. The table below outlines the price adjustments for the affected products:

NHSBSA is in the process of re-pricing generic and branded prescriptions (EPS and paper) for the affected Eucerin® products dispensed between January and May 2026 and will apply any upward price adjustments to payments received by affected contractors. Any adjustments will appear under the section titled ‘Adjustment drugs’ in the July 2026 Schedule of Payments with a payment date of 1st October. The payment adjustments for products listed above will be shown as a combined total.
Product and/or pricing information held on dm+d is used to inform the reimbursement arrangements of several products dispensed against NHS prescriptions. Community pharmacy owners should not be faced with dispensing at a loss products supplied against NHS prescriptions because of failures by suppliers to update dm+d in a timely manner. Community Pharmacy England continues to urge the Department to introduce processes to improve the accuracy and quality of product and pricing information held on dm+d and strengthen the requirements for all suppliers to maintain their dm+d product listings.
