Sector Poll: How is your pharmacy business faring on the eve of winter?
Community Pharmacy England is asking how pharmacy businesses are faring as we head into winter.
Famously the busiest time of year for all NHS providers, this winter season brings its own particular set of challenges for community pharmacies. Despite a 10.3% funding uplift for 2026/27, soaring medicines and fuel prices in recent months are compounding pre-existing financial and operational pressures on the sector.
Your feedback matters. Tell us what impact the funding settlement has had on your costs and how ready you feel for the demands of winter via our latest sector poll.
In just a few minutes you can tell us about your concerns via these 6 quick questions:
November 2026 Sector Opinion Poll (for independents and non-CCA multiples only)

The survey will close at 11.59pm on Monday 16th November. Please note, CCA multiple branches do not need to respond as their head offices will be contacted separately.
Your answers will help us better understand the current state of the sector and highlight ongoing challenges to politicians and the media, supported by case studies (e.g. those featured in our recent community pharmacies continue facing daily abuse amid medicines supply pressures coverage).
We hope that as many of you as possible will share your thoughts with us – this is your chance to feed directly into the Committee and its important work.
