UKHSA immunisation training provider survey

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is undertaking a piece of work looking into the standards of practical and theoretical immunisation training. The work will help inform what more could be done to support healthcare staff in achieving and maintaining their skills and competences in this important area of clinical practice.
UKHSA, NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care are working together to develop a Framework for Action of Immunisation. As a result, UKHSA is seeking, via this survey, to improve their national understanding of the range of immunisation training providers that are currently available and who are providing services to frontline staff; to find out what training is taking place and how this is being accessed in practice; and in addition, what evidence there is for the effectiveness of current immunisation training content and approaches across the country.
Community pharmacy owners involved in immunisation training are invited to share their experiences to provide baseline evidence to support the development of actions to improve the content of the UKHSA training framework. Feedback will also provide evidence to support the future action plan.
To participate, pharmacy owners involved in vaccination training are encouraged to complete a brief online questionnaire.
