System supplier alerts
Your system supplier may notify you if there are significant service issues with their system.
NHS Spine/EPS alerts
You can subscribe to alerts, and set your alert preferences about EPS and other services at the NHS National Service Desk (NSD) Customer Portal (NHSmail and login account creation needed).
(As a back-up this may also be possible through the NHS IT service status pages (HSCN nww link)).
You may be asked to re-subscribe from time to time, to continue to receive these alerts.
Top tip: Consider subscribing to NSD email IT alerts and setting them to automatically move into a sub-folder within your email. This way, your main inbox won’t be overwhelmed, and you can check the alerts as needed if you experience a possible technical issue.
