CPPE launches Preparing to train as an independent prescriber e-course

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) is launching a Preparing to train as an independent prescriber e-course on 12th September 2023.
The aim of the e-course is to build the confidence and competence of pharmacists who are planning to apply and train as independent prescribers.
The course is made up of four main components:
- a self-directed e-course and self-assessment framework;
- a mandatory online workshop to support learners to review their self-assessment of competencies;
- an optional online workshop to support readiness for academic writing and reflective practice; and
- an optional peer support session, providing the opportunity for learners to develop professional network and establish communities of practice.
Applications open on 12th September 2023; you can register on the waiting list so you are notified when it is time to apply for a place on the course.
