THIS CONTENT HAS NOW EXPIRED
The deadline for claiming the £300 engagement and set up payment for the GP Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (GP CPCS) has been extended until 11.59pm on Wednesday 7th July 2021.
This follows reports that some community pharmacy contractors experienced difficulties submitting a claim for this payment on the NHS Business Services Authority’s (NHSBSA) Manage Your Service (MYS) platform today.
Due to these issues, the claim window has now been extended by the NHSBSA and contractors yet to claim will be able to submit their claims via MYS between 9am on Tuesday 6th July and 11:59pm on Wednesday 7th July 2021.
To be eligible to claim the £300 engagement and set up payment for the GP CPCS, contractors were required to have completed the activities listed in Annex F of the CPCS service specification by 30th June 2021. Contractors should ensure they keep documented evidence to show that all activities have been completed for Post Payment Verification purposes.
Any payments for this claim will not be affected by this extension; contractors will still receive their payments on time if they submit their claims by the new deadline, having meet the relevant criteria.
