Changes to the Terms of Service 2023
On 25th May 2023 new NHS regulations were introduced which made changes to the NHS (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013.
These changes relate to change of core opening hours applications, 100-hour pharmacy applications, local hours plans, business continuity plan requirements and other easements. For further information, please see our PLPS regulations change page.
Changes to the Terms of Service late 2020
On 20th October 2020 new NHS regulations were laid to introduce changes to the Terms of Service for pharmacy contractors.
Some of these changes relate to the coronavirus pandemic, but most are changes which were previously agreed as part of the 5-year Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) and were originally planned to be introduced in July 2020.
Community Pharmacy England has issued a series of reminders about the changes to the pharmacy Terms of Service that took place in late 2020. Community pharmacy contractors are advised to review these reminders in preparation for completing the 2021/22 Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) survey, which will include questions on the new Terms of Service.
