DHSC publish guidance on Prevent Duty

Prevent is an aspect of the Government’s counter-terrorism strategy (CONTEST) and aims to reduce the threat to the UK from terrorism by stopping people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.
Whilst this is not directly aimed at community pharmacy, healthcare professionals do have a key role in relation to safeguarding, specifically vulnerable people at risk of exploitation, paragraphs 211-213 explains this and the use of local safeguarding procedures.
