Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued a medicine supply notification for Piroxicam (Feldene Melt®) 20mg orodispersible tablets.

- Feldene Melt® (piroxicam 20mg orodispersible tablets) are out of stock until late April 2022.
- Piroxicam 10mg and 20mg capsules remain available and can support an uplift in demand during
this period. - Other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) remain available, including orodispersible and liquid presentations, as well as licensed solid dosage forms.
A copy of this medicine supply notification, including further information, has been sent to all pharmacy NHS email addresses.
The DHSC Medicine Supply Team provide a monthly update on potential supply issues affecting both primary and secondary care. This update is uploaded on the Specialist Pharmacy Services (SPS) website.
