Pharmacists asked to take part in Self Care Forum COVID-19 Survey

The Self Care Forum is inviting everyone involved in the delivery of healthcare throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, to complete a short questionnaire.

The survey is being conducted in collaboration with the Imperial College London’s Self Care Academic Research Unit (SCARU) and is looking at changes in professionals’ attitudes to, and practice of, self-care during the pandemic.

COVID-19 has fundamentally altered the delivery of some health and care services and supported self-care has been critical: pharmacies have been at the forefront of this, supporting patients through more than 48 million informal healthcare consultations each year.

However, despite professionals having adapted their expectations and practice to support this way of working, little is known about this change in attitudes and practice and its likely impact. The survey aims to find out more about this.

This questionnaire should only take 5-10 minutes to complete, and the Self Care Forum would be delighted to hear from community pharmacy teams.
