Second mandated health campaign of 2021/22: Winter vaccines

NHS England and NHS Improvement and PSNC have agreed that contractors will be asked to participate in a Winter vaccines campaign as the second mandated health campaign for 2021/22, which contractors must undertake as part of their NHS contractual requirements.

This will be part of the national campaign which commenced today, which seeks to encourage people to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19 and flu.

The campaign materials, which include a briefing sheet and FAQs to support  pharmacy teams to have conversations with patients on this topic, will start to be delivered to pharmacies via Royal Mail from 8th November 2021. Social media and digital resources for this campaign are also available.

If contractors have not received the campaign materials by 1st December 2021, please email Marketing@dhsc.gov.uk stating your pharmacy’s name, address and the name of the campaign that you are missing campaign materials for.
