Shared Care Records implementation and upcoming webinar

NHS Transformation Directorate are hosting a webinar on pharmacy and Shared Care Records (ShCRs) on Thursday 23rd June, from 2-3pm.

The webinar will explore:

• the benefits of community pharmacy access to ShCRs;
• the barriers to implementation;
• examples of areas that have already began ShCR implementation; and
• feedback from participants about new draft pharmacy guidance.

Guidance

New draft guidance has been prepared to support the rollout of Shared Care Records (ShCR) to more community pharmacies across England.

The guidance was commissioned following a joint Community Pharmacy IT Group, LPCs and NHS Transformation Directorate event held last year.

PSNC is also welcoming and collating further comment about the draft guidance (use the IT feedback webform or email it@cpe.org.uk).
