Watch our Pharmacy Contraception Service: Initiating contraception webinar
Pharmacy owners and their teams can now watch an on-demand recording of Community Pharmacy England’s webinar on the expansion of the Pharmacy Contraception Service.
Held earlier this week, over 600 people tuned in to watch our ‘Pharmacy Contraception Service: Initiating Contraception’ webinar. The first in our series of webinars* aimed at assisting the pharmacy sector in preparing for changes to pharmacy services, this event focused on helping pharmacy teams who are already providing the Contraception Service to expand their offering by including the initiation of contraception.
The webinar focused on the new aspects of the contraception service, including the requirements, training options, and available resources to support pharmacy owners and their teams. Attendees also learned from the speakers’ experiences in piloting the service and received practical tips on delivering the service effectively.
During the webinar, attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from the Community Pharmacy England Services Team, Kirsty Armstrong, NHS England’s National Pharmacy Integration Lead, and Emma Anderson, a practising Clinical Services Pharmacist as well as a tutor at the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE). They also answered a large number of viewers’ questions live.
Anyone who was unable to attend the live event, or if you just want to re-watch, the recorded version is now available via the link below:
