Watch our Pharmacy First: Getting to know the service webinar

Pharmacy owners and their teams can now watch an on-demand recording of Community Pharmacy England’s webinar giving an overview of the Pharmacy First service.

Held last week, over 500 people tuned in to watch our ‘Pharmacy First: Getting to know the service’ webinar. The latest in our series of webinars aimed at assisting the pharmacy sector in preparing for changes to pharmacy services, this event provided the initial launch information for the Pharmacy First service, outlining the core details and how the service will work.

The webinar explained the process used to develop the clinical pathways and PGDs, worked through one of the clinical pathways, explored the learning and development requirements, and described the accompanying digital systems which are in development.

During the webinar, attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from Alastair Buxton, Director of NHS Services at Community Pharmacy England, and David Webb, the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England, as well as colleagues from NHS England and the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE). The speakers also answered a large number of viewers’ questions live.

Anyone who was unable to attend the live event, or if you just want to re-watch, the recorded version is now available via the link below:
