Discount Deduction Changes Webinar

Mike Dent (Director of Pharmacy Funding) and Jack Cresswell (Funding Strategy Manager) will be hosting a PSNC webinar about changes to the discount deduction system.

Changes are being made to discount deduction to introduce a fairer distribution of margin across the community pharmacy sector. This webinar will explain how the changes will help those contractors who were being disadvantaged by the previous unfair system, and how the transition arrangements will give them time to adapt. This webinar is part of a series of resources about the changes to discount deduction.

The webinar will help address a range of questions, including why these changes are being made, how the new discount rates arrived were at, how discount deduction will be applied during the transition period and beyond, and what the impact will be on individual pharmacies.
