Childhood Flu Vac: resources to implement and promote the service

Community Pharmacy England has released a series of resources to help pharmacy owners and their teams to implement and promote the new Community Pharmacy NHS Childhood Flu Vaccination Service.

A variety of resources are available to read and download, including checklists, a briefing guide, posters, social media content, flyers and a local press release. The messaging has been developed to assist with highlighting the service to parents, carers and the public.

In addition, Community Pharmacy England has published a bank of frequently asked questions (FAQ) to assist pharmacy owners and their teams with their understanding of the service.

Our new shared folder allows you to easily download the latest versions of some or all of the following resources:

• Posters for display within pharmacies;
• Social media tiles and suggested social media posts about the service;
• Small flyers about the Childhood Flu Vaccination service to attach to prescription bags; and
• Template local press releases for the launch of the service and for further promotion at the mid-point of the service.
