Drug Tariff Watch – April 2025

The Drug Tariff Preface published monthly, lists additions, deletions and other changes to products listed in the Drug Tariff. Below is a summary of the changes coming into effect from 1 April 2025.
From 1st April, the Single Activity Fee (SAF) will increase by 19p to £1.46 per item. For more information see CPCF arrangements for 2024/25 and 2025/26 announced.
Part VIIIC – Arrangements of payment for products supplied free of charge or products with a nominal price (England)
Contractors should note:
- Molnupiravir (Lagevrio) 200mg capsules will no longer be reimbursed as per Part VIIIC (i).
- changes made to the payment for products supplied with a nominal charge under Part VIIIC (ii).

Part IX Deletions
It is important to take careful note of removals from Part IX because if you dispense a deleted product, prescriptions will be returned as disallowed and therefore payment will not be made for dispensing the item.
