Have you completed the 2022 Pharmacy Advice Audit yet?

Community pharmacy teams are reminded that PSNC’s 2022 Pharmacy Advice Audit is currently underway, and we would be hugely grateful to anyone who is able to take part.

Pharmacies are being encouraged to take part in the audit which will help demonstrate how pharmacies are supporting their communities every day and assist PSNC in gathering critical evidence for use in our funding discussions with HM Government and the NHS. It also aims to help us begin to understand the growing level of complexity and acuity of patients that pharmacies are now seeing.

PSNC’s Director of Pharmacy Funding, Mike Dent, described the importance of the audit in gathering data for negotiations and campaigning work in a recent video update:

Pharmacy teams are requested to carry out the audit on just a single day and, once completed, submit their data to PSNC via PharmOutcomes.

The PSNC audit has been designed to be as simple as possible to carry out and we hope to receive data from as many pharmacy teams as possible to build a strong evidence base.
