Pharmacy Pressures Survey 2024: Your input is vital

THIS CONTENT HAS NOW EXPIRED

Community Pharmacy England’s third annual Pressures Survey is underway, and many pharmacy owners and teams have been responding.

Thank you to everyone who has already responded to the survey during this busy time; we very much appreciate your support. However, we’re keen to hear from even more voices across the sector. Every contribution is important in building up the strongest possible picture of the challenges you are facing.

We are urging community pharmacy owners and pharmacy team members across England to share your experiences on pressing issues such as medicines supply issues, workforce concerns, workload, stress levels, patient demand, and other impacts on your pharmacy.

The more responses we receive, the better we can measure the pressure the whole sector is under for use in negotiations, conversations with MPs, and the national media. Used as part of our influencing work, the crucial evidence from your responses will help us push the Government and NHS to improve the situation.

The survey is designed to be quick, taking just 10-15 minutes of your time. The survey has been extended and will now close at 12 noon on Monday 8th April.

Zoe Long, Community Pharmacy England’s Director of Communications, Corporate and Public Affairs, said:

“Our annual Pharmacy Pressures Survey has quickly become a vital source of information. We regularly reference the findings in negotiations with Government and the NHS, as well as in briefings we provide for MPs and journalists. But now we need your help to boost this year’s responses.

If you own a community pharmacy or work in one, please consider completing the survey – and sharing it with others who do – to help strengthen the impact of its findings. Your experiences are important to record as we work to build more support for sustained investment in community pharmacies.”

Join us on 7th May to discuss our work and progress in key areas, as well as sharing views on the issues that matter to you.
