Earlier this month Community Pharmacy England Chief Executive Janet Morrison hosted an evening webinar for pharmacy owners – our members.

This was an opportunity to hear your views about the Government’s Primary Care Access Plan, and for Janet to talk to you as we started our negotiations on what the plan means for pharmacy.

Janet gave an overview of the current unsustainable pressures facing the community pharmacy sector. She described the £645m investment in community pharmacy, as set out in the Access Plan, as ‘’not the panacea for the sector’s funding woes … but a first step in recognising the value of the sector after years of systemic cuts.”
