Description
The aims of this service are:
- to support the reduction of smoking prevalence in South Gloucestershire and to reduce health inequalities;
- to contribute towards reducing prevalence of smoking by taking a whole systems approach to a readily accessible quality service for smokers who want to quit. This will include, but is not limited to, delivering brief interventions, making appropriate referrals and providing evidence-based support; and
- provide an appropriate referral process for smokers with more complex needs to the Smokefree South Gloucestershire Specialist Advisors.
