Day Lewis has said it will not be launching the Pharmacy Contraception Service due to the pharmacy funding deadlock, despite training their staff to provide it.

Chief Executive, Janet Morrison OBE, said:  

“Pharmacies want to provide this new contraception service for patients, but some are clearly taking the decision that the 30% funding cuts they have faced in recent years make this impossible. We want the Government and NHS to give pharmacies the help and funding they need to offer this service and even more to support patients.”
