Reminder: New eligible patient groups for LFD service start from 1st April

Community pharmacy owners are reminded that the Lateral flow device tests supply service for patients potentially eligible for COVID-19 treatments (LFD service) will expand to additional patient groups from 1st April 2024.

As previously announced, further details on the continued commissioning of the service and the additional patient groups are available on the LFD service page.

To support pharmacy owners to implement the changes to the service, updates have been made to the template standard operating procedure, the team briefing sheet for the service and the eligible patient groups list. These updated resources, are available on the LFD service page.
