Services Database Bank holiday rota service (Greater London region)

Service Description

• Pharmacies will be required to deliver effective and accessible services that meet the local pharmaceutical need in an efficient and professional manner.
• Pharmacies will be required to provide an out of hours pharmaceutical service to enable patients to access medicines. Pharmacies who sign up for this service must be willing to provide all commissioned enhanced services and advanced services on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day (2023-2025).
• The pharmacies providing these services will be required to open for 10am-6pm. Pharmacies are permitted to open longer, however additional opening  will be on a voluntary basis and not part of this service.
• The service provider agrees to provide the Easter Sunday and Christmas Day Out of Hours (OOH) Local Enhanced Service (LES) on the terms set in the service level agreement (SLA) i.e. Dates set out in Appendix A.
• The service is only to be provided at the pharmacy commissioned as agreed as part of this SLA
