Services Database Blood Pressure & Atrial Fibrillation Screening Project (Frimley ICS Area Only)

This project is running at targeted locations within the Frimley Integrated Care System (ICS) that are known to have high levels of deprivation and high risks of cardiovascular disease mortality.

This service will provide opportunistic health checks to people accessing community pharmacy and will offer blood pressure screening and pulse checks to identify hypertension and/or atrial fibrillation.

In addition to the above, the service is intended to provide people with brief advice and signpost people to other local services they may benefit from, depending on any lifestyle adjustments they may wish to make.
