Description
This service aims to provide part of a comprehensive sexual health service via an accessible local pharmacy which will contribute to the improvement of health, sexual health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities in sexual health.
The provider (ie the pharmacist) will provide one to one advice and support to young people aged 15-24 years old on the management of their sexual health, including the provision of a chlamydia testing kit. Pharmacists are also able to supply azithromycin via a Patient Group Direction (PGD) for chlamydia treatment.
