This service is available to young people aged 16-24 years in Worcestershire.
The service provides a free consultation and supply of azithromycin or doxycycline under a Patient Group Direction (PGD) to young people who have tested positive for chlamydia.

All pharmacists involved in the provision of the service must have relevant knowledge and have completed the following:
- The CPPE open learning programme on Sexual Health in Pharmacies plus Dealing with Difficult Decisions;
- Ensure that all pharmacists involved in the provision of the service have relevant knowledge of Patient Group Directions and have considered any personal development needs in the relation to their use; and
- The CPPE package Safeguarding Children or have an understanding of child protection guidance.
