The project will encourage individuals to have a blood pressure and atrial fibrillation test and take action to improve their lifestyle. All Blood Pressure and AF Drop-In sites will follow an agreed pathway and testing protocol. People with high blood pressure readings will be encouraged to visit their GP practice.
The Blood Pressure and AF Drop-In campaign is aimed at people over the age of 40 with no pre-existing diagnosis of high blood pressure / atrial fibrillation.
