Description

Pharmacy First Plus scheme is extension of the national Pharmacy First service. It is commissioned by the NHS South East London (SEL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) (Greenwich). The scheme will be running between the months of April 2024 and September 2024. The scheme intends:

  • to rapidly boost capacity and resilience in primary care;
  • to improve accessibility and support vulnerable patients in accessing medicines;
  • to ensure patients are reviewed by the most appropriate health care professional;
  • to improve the utilisation of national community pharmacy services;
  • to promote self-care.

Minor Ailments Criteria:

  • Mild to moderate hay fever/ seasonal rhinitis (adults and children over 1 years)
  • Vitamin D Maintenance dose (1,000IU) in adults ≥ 18 years
