Service description

1.1 The pharmacy will provide one to one support and advice to the client and referral to SFL if necessary.

1.2 The pharmacy will help facilitate access to, and where appropriate supply, appropriate stop smoking drugs and aids.

1.3 The pharmacy staff will counsel patients as to the appropriate use of the stop smoking drugs and aids as specified and will provide further pharmaceutical advice with regard to these items at the client’s request. (Note: At the point of preparing this SLA the position of Liverpool is not to advise use of e-cigarettes as a stop smoking aid. Pharmacies will be notified if this position changes at some point along the duration of this SLA).
