Description
A minor ailment service where the pharmacist will assess the patient’s condition. The consultation will consist of:
- a patient assessment by the pharmacist.
- the provision of advice.
- the provision of a medication, only if necessary, from the agreed formulary appropriate to the patient’s condition.
If the patient is exempt from prescription charges, the medication should be supplied at no cost. If the patient pays prescription charges, the retail price should be charged.
