Description

On receipt of an official voucher from a service user, a designated pharmacist will check the form has been completed correctly. The pharmacist will check for contraindications and assess the suitability of the proposed product for the service. If not appropriate, the pharmacist may wish to propose an alternative, similar cost product.

If there are no contraindications, than the pharmacists can supply the nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to the service user and complete the required paperwork.

This service is only available to pregnant women.
