Description
The aim of the service is to improve the care of the dying in the last few days/hours of life by pharmacies:
- having sufficient stock of an appropriate range of palliative care medicines (PCMs) during core hours; and
- signposting carers to another participating pharmacy with sufficient stock, in the event that they are unable to immediately supply the necessary palliative care medicines.
