Description
The service will deliver the following based on age and gender:
- For women aged 13-24
- Provision of EHC (either levonorgestrel or ulipristal) via a Patient Group Direction(PGD);
- Provision of chlamydia and gonorrhoea dual tests;
- pregnancy testing service; and
- provision of condoms.
- For men aged 15-24
- Provision of chlamydia and gonorrhoea dual tests; and
- Provision of condoms.
Emergency Hormonal Contraceptive provision (EHC)
Supply of EHC for free on this scheme is only for women aged 13-24 with a Leeds postcode.
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea dual testing
These tests should only be issued to men and women under 25.
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea dual testing should be offered to every young woman accessing the pharmacy for EHC and/or pregnancy testing.
Pregnancy testing
This should be offered to women under the age of 25.

Training
The service can only be provided by a pharmacist who has demonstrated they are competent to provide the service by the completion the CPPE /Health Education North West Declaration of Competence for EHC form (every 3 years).
Pharmacists must book onto a regional evening workshop hosted by CPWY. These are hosted four times a year.
