Description
Clients of Calderdale Quit Smoking Service who are attending a specialist smoking cessation clinic will be able to be issued with a supply of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) through the scheme, or those attending a service delivered by an accredited Level 2 Pharmacy Stop Smoking Advisor registered with Calderdale Quit Smoking Service, in a named pharmacy which is contracted to deliver Enhanced Service Level 2.

Pharmacists involved in this Level 1 service are recommended to attend Level 1 brief interventions for smoking cessation (1/2 day course) provided by Calderdale Quit Smoking Service or work through the Smoking Cessation CPPE CD-ROM or attend a workshop provided by CPPE in smoking cessation.
