Services Database Pharmacy Sexual Health Services (Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Area)

This service is two tiered with Tier 1 providing the C-Card scheme to under 24 years old, pregnancy testing to women under 24 years old, and supply of chlamydia screening kits, and Tier 2 providing emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) to over 13 years old under PGD and Chlamydia treatment to people aged under 25 (and their partner where appropriate) via a PGD.
Referral into mainstream contraceptive and sexual health services, especially from hard to reach groups, and to an appropriate service is required for clients who may have been at risk of STIs is included in the service, and the service aims to contribute to the achievement of targets for Chlamydia screening, teenage pregnancy and potentially GUM access.
The service must be offered at least 5 days each week.

In house training course refreshed every two years.
