Description
| The aim of this scheme is to minimise the possible harmful effects of supply of substances liable to misuse by both increasing compliance and reducing supplies leaking into the illicit market. This aim is congruent with the Government’s White Paper Tackling Drugs to Building a Better Britain (April 1998) and the Health Service Guidelines HSG(97)14 “Purchasing effective treatment and care for drug users”.
