Description
The aim of this service is to increase the availability of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) via a voucher and varenicline via a Patient Group Direction (PGD), free of charge to all clients registered with an NHS Sheffield /CCG GP, through community pharmacies in Sheffield.
The service allows pharmacists to dispense NRT products or varenicline to clients presenting a valid voucher issued by Yorkshire Smokefree (Sheffield) or a third party provider contracted by Yorkshire Smokefree (Sheffield) - vouchers are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.
