Description
To open at least ten new registration points to provide young people with an opportunity to meet with a trained healthcare professional to engage and be better informed with their contraceptive and sexual health needs.
The pharmacy will offer timely information and advice about all aspects of relationships, sex and sexuality in relation to sexual health and c-card services.
Designated Groups: Young people up to the age of 25 including all emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) service users e.g. all service users dispensed or sold EHC and chlamydia testing service users e.g. all service users given chlamydia test kit.
Excluded Groups: Children and Young people aged 12 and under.
This pilot was completed on 31st March 2015.

Training
Pharmacists (register) and pharmacy staff (easy access point) will undergo separate training on the C-Card Hertfordshire website. The training will be arranged by both HCC and Hertfordshire LPC.
Pharmacists must also attend an LPC led training event.
