Description
This contract relates solely to the provision of Varenicline (product name Champix) under a Patient Group Directions (PGD) for those patients who have been referred by Halton’s Stop Smoking Service or who are receiving intermediate stop smoking support direct from the pharmacy under the Stop Smoking Services in Community Pharmacies contract.
Those eligible for the service are smokers aged 18 and over who are attending Halton's stop smoking service or an intermediate stop smoking service within Halton and have been assessed as sufficiently motivated to quit.
